For the last 30 years, PATCO Commercial has built a business on basic core values– integrity, fairness, respect, and loyalty. These values drive what we do, how we do it and who we partner with in our business projects.  We value the relationships developed with our clients, vendors, employees and sub-contractors.  And in our work, we always strive to do the right thing.

Our partner, Varco Pruden Buildings supplies the steel building systems and products used in all of our steel buildings. As this business relationship has grown and flourished, so has our company.  In fact, in the past five years PATCO Commercial has grown to become one of Varco Pruden’s top builders out of thousands of dealers in North and South America. That’s a lot of steel!!

Typically, when a person envisions a steel building the image is a basic warehouse with no character.  It’s built only for function.  Using the building systems and products from Varco Pruden, PATCO Commercial has been able to be creative with design elements and products to create steel buildings that are beautiful as well as highly functional.

Varco Pruden Hall of Fame Awards

Each year, Varco Pruden recognizes top projects in a variety of categories.  To be selected, projects must display innovation and creativity through the integration of the VP building systems and products in the appearance and design of the final project. Thousands of entries are received each year and the competition is intense.

PATCO Commercial has won 53 Hall of Fame Awards in the past 22 years, more than any other Varco Pruden builder in North and South America.  The 2019 Hall of Fame Awards were recently released and PATCO Commercial won four awards.  The Marc Motors building won the top honor in the Automotive category. Safe Storage in Sanford was also selected to receive the 2019 Hall of Fame Award in the Storage category, Dimillo’s Old Port Yacht Sales in Freeport and Dollar General in South Portland were the winners in the Retail category.

We would like to thank Varco Pruden for being a loyal business partner, our clients and hard- working employees. Each day, PATCO Commercial works to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.  To do that, we need the support of committed partners.  It is nice to receive recognition for finished projects but it’s even better to look forward to the next one.
