Neil’s Motors has been providing dependable and trustworthy auto repairs in the Biddeford area since 1970. With the advent of more electric vehicles (EVs) and cars equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), they needed to expand their operations to meet their customers’ needs. Owner Steve Morin explains, “We wanted to make sure we were set up for the changes in the industry. This addition allows us to be more sustainable for the future and also sets us up for transitioning ownership to the next generation.” Looking for a trusted contractor to help with the addition, Morin started doing some research. He had heard of PATCO Construction and reached out to local businesses who had worked with them to hear about their experience. Satisfied with the responses, Morin called the PATCO office. Jon Bell, PATCO Executive VP, immediately got back to him.

Utilizing its Design-Build Process, PATCO helped Morin plan and construct a 3,000 square foot metal building expansion with two service bays specialized for ADAS calibration and EV maintenance and repairs. For the ADAS service area, PATCO needed to do specialized concrete work leveled with a laser screed. Morin enjoyed the experience of working with the PATCO team. “They were easy to get a hold of; email responses were always quick. When issues came up, they resolved them quickly. There were some municipal hurdles and PATCO did all the work so everything lined up and we could move forward. Anytime things deviated from the plan, they were right there. The team kept a clean job site and it was clear they were proud of the work they do. I’m very happy with how the whole project went.”
